A Message From the Interim Dean
Welcome to BSU’s Bartlett College of Science and 数学, home to the departments of 生物学; 化学; 计算机科学; 地理位置; 地质; 数学; Physics, Photonics, and Optical Engineering 和 Center for the Advancement of STEM Education (CASE).
Our student-centered 教师 and staff are the heart of our college. Everything we do is viewed through the lens of “how will this benefit our students?” Teaching is our passion and craft, as are continual contributions to our respective disciplines. Our goal is to help BSU students learn and unleash their potential – whether it be going to teach in K-12, 工业工作, or further their education in graduate school. We accomplish this goal by offering relevant courses and majors, mentoring in and outside of the classroom, connecting students with internships and opportunities like studying abroad, engaging students in scholarly research, and continuing our racial and social justice work.
We are housed in the Dana Mohler-Faria (DMF) Science and 数学中心, a state-of-the-art science and mathematics building built in 2012. Students use cutting edge equipment that others may only have access to in graduate school. They have ample space to collaborate with others in labs and in shared study spaces and our small classes make it easier for students, 教师, and staff to connect and build a community. DMF was designed to put science and mathematics on display and is a resource not just for BSU, but also for regional K-12 students who take part in CASE programs throughout the year.

BSU is committed to hiring and supporting diverse 教师.
